The Baku Transport Agency under the Baku City executive power has released information about two contracts on updating road markings on the streets and avenues of the city. The information became available only after several months that they were signed.
Total cost of works and services is estimated at 7,235,000 manats ($4,256,000).
According to the information posted on the portal of public e-procurements, the contract with LLC Yol X?tt (INN: 1700233481) was signed on April 5, and with state-run LLC Road Operation of Special Purpose #1 (INN: 1000118241) – on December 6, 2021. The AR Law “On Public Procurement” provides for the publication of information on the procurement contract in this portal no later than 5 days.
The contract value awarded to Yol X?tt LLC is AZN 5,677,200, and the subsidiary of the State Automobile Roads Agency of Azerbaijan (AAYDA) – AZN 1,557,800. Note that the same companies were given two contracts worth AZN 6 million 586,000 ($3 million 874,000) in 2020.
Director of Yol X?tt LLC is Zaur Hasanov. Until recently he headed another above-mentioned partner of the Baku Transport Agency.
