A fire incident occurred in the forest area near Kish village of Sheki region.
The press secretary of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Irada Ibrahimova, said that since the fire occurred in a mountainous area with complex terrain, there were difficulties in bringing equipment to the area. Fire extinguishing is mainly done by hand.
“Currently, up to 100 employees of the local bodies of ETSN and representatives of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications are participating in extinguishing the fire.”
I.Ibrahimova appealed to the citizens once again, taking into account the fact that forest fires are very serious and dangerous, and urged everyone who rests in the natural areas to be cautious and careful, to feel responsible.
