Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down a Russian fighter jet over Kharkov, Kharkiv region’s military administration chief Oleg Sinegubov said, APA reports quoting UNIAN.

The Russian Su-25 was shot down by the National Guard from an anti-aircraft missile system at 18:15 local time.

“The plane crashed in Kulinichi district. “The Kharkiv Air Defense Forces had a productive day today,” Sinegubov said.
