Baku: The 6th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition (ADEX) is set to take place from September 30 to October 2 at the Baku Expo Centre, highlighting the strength and potential of Azerbaijan's defence industry.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this event, supported by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defence Industry and the Ministry of Defense, is organised by the Caspian Event Organisers and marks a significant gathering for the defence sector in the region.

Bahruz Hidayatzade, Executive Director of Caspian Event Organisers, noted the active preparation for the exhibition. He emphasized the event's importance, mentioning President Ilham Aliyev's consistent support and participation, which underscores ADEX's esteemed status. This year, the exhibition is expected to draw significant attention, with key state institutions showcasing their capabilities and latest developments at the Baku Expo Centre.

The exhibition will feature participation from renowned global companies, including Roketsan, Aselsan Elektronik San. ve Tic. A.S., and Turkish Aerospace Industries from Turkey; Leonardo from Italy; Excalibur Army SPOL. S R.O. from the Czech Republic; Edge Group PJSC from the UAE; INDRA from Spain; and IAI - Israel Aerospace Industries and Plasan from Israel. Additionally, national pavilions from Belarus, the Czech Republic, Israel, Italy, Turkey, and Slovakia will be part of the event.

High-profile guests and official delegations are expected at ADEX, enhancing its status as a major event in the defence industry. Concurrently, the Securex Caspian exhibition will take place, focusing on internal security, safety, and the cybersecurity sector.

ADEX will feature a comprehensive display of military equipment, including aircraft, armoured vehicles, naval systems, CBRN defence systems, and advanced technologies. An extensive business programme, including panel discussions and bilateral meetings, will also be part of the event, fostering military-technical cooperation and strategic partnerships.
