Aghdam: The 'Imarat' Historical-Architectural Museum Complex in Aghdam, one of the key historical and architectural monuments of Karabakh, has been equipped with modern technologies to enhance visitor experience. This complex, a significant cultural heritage site from the Karabakh Khanate period, has been restored to its original state following extensive restoration and reconstruction efforts.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the 'Imarat' complex not only preserves the rich history of the Karabakh Khanate but also incorporates interactive systems and multimedia tools. These installations enable visitors to access information in multiple languages, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the site's history even without a guide. Monitors are strategically placed to provide detailed information about the complex's significance and history.

Aynura Jafarova, head of the department at the 'Imarat' Historical-Architectural Museum Complex, highlighted the importance of preserving this heritage site. She expressed that participating in the site's preservation is both a source of pride and a responsibility. Jafarova noted that during the occupation period, the complex suffered vandalism and misuse, but since liberation, efforts have successfully restored its historical appearance.

The site contains the family cemetery of the khan lineage, including the grave of Khurshidbanu Natavan. It stands as a testament to the cultural heritage of the 18th-19th centuries. Currently, the complex attracts both local and foreign tourists, drawn by its historical significance and the modern technologies that facilitate an enriched visitor experience.
