Baku: Real peace and security have been established in the South Caucasus, with Azerbaijan being the primary guarantor of this stability, stated Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Board of the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center), during a roundtable discussion held at the center today.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Shafiyev addressed the complex geopolitical landscape of the region, highlighting ongoing conflicts in both the northern and southern directions. He mentioned that the outcomes of these conflicts remain uncertain, adding an element of unpredictability to the regional stability.

Shafiyev further elaborated on the tense situation surrounding Iran and remarked that certain forces are opposing the new realities that have emerged in the region. He stressed that the pressures facing Azerbaijan are not isolated to a single source.

He expressed concern over activities against Azerbaijan originating from Europe, indicating that the geopolitical pressures are multidirectional and complex.
