Air Serbia Commences Direct Flights Connecting Belgrade and Baku

Baku: The first direct flight on the Belgrade-Baku-Belgrade route was officially welcomed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport on May 3. Flights on the new route will be operated twice a week, specifically on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and are anticipated to enhance tourism and commercial exchange between Serbia and Azerbaijan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the ceremony marking the inaugural flight was attended by officials from the Azerbaijani Government, a Serbian delegation, and senior Air Serbia executives. This event underscores the importance of the new route in diversifying the international flight network of Heydar Aliyev International Airport. The introduction of this route further strengthens Baku's position as a key regional aviation and tourism hub.
