Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen. Press service of the Cabinet reported.

Representatives of China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation also attended the meeting. During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, implementation of previously reached agreements, as well as projects of mutual interest.

He stressed the importance of high-quality and timely study of this issue by the Kyrgyz and Chinese sides. Ideas were put forward to open an appropriate assembly and service center for this transport in the capital.

The parties also discussed implementation of the project for the construction of Bypass Chui Canal-2 (OCHK-2), which will increase the water supply of irrigated lands in Kyrgyzstan. The head of the Cabinet emphasized the need to speed up the preparation of a feasibility study for the project and the start of construction work this year.

Du Dewen, in turn, expressed her willingness to promote the issues raised.
