Alban-Udi Religious Community Visits Historic Aghoghlan Monastery

Lachin:Representatives from the Azerbaijani Alban-Udi Christian Religious Community recently visited the Aghoghlan Monastery in the Lachin district.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, members of the community lit candles, offered prayers, and commemorated martyrs during their visit to the monastery.

Rafiq Danakari, Deputy Chairman of the Alban-Udi Religious Community, highlighted that since 2020, the community has been visiting religious monuments in liberated territories regularly. Their first visit to the Aghoghlan Monastery took place in February 2021, during which they prayed for peace and tranquility in Azerbaijani lands.

Danakari emphasized the peacefulness, multiculturalism, tolerance, and hospitality of the Azerbaijani people, stating that they have no territorial claims and hope others will respect their lands. He remarked that Azerbaijani lands, including their monasteries, churches, and mosques, are sacred and part of the nation's heritage and culture.
