The foundation laying ceremony for the Horadiz-Jebrail-Zangilan-Agbend highway, which is part of the Zangezur corridor, took place today with thecparticipation of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey, Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

In parallel with this highway, 100 km of the railway from Horadiz to Agbend is being built.

Further restoration of 46 km railway through Armenia to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the construction of a highway in parallel with it is supposed.

Aliyev and Erdogan also got acquainted with the construction of the Ahmadbeyli-Fizuli-Shusha highway, which is being built in parallel with the Victory Road.
