Baku: ‘Azerbaijan is restoring all religious monuments in Karabakh without any religious discrimination,’ Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade told journalists during a blood donation campaign, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Pashazade emphasized that this restoration effort is a reflection of Azerbaijan’s state policy and its outcomes. He remarked on the significant increase in the number of mosques since the Soviet era, noting that where there were once 17 mosques, today there are thousands. He credited the state for creating conditions that allow for such developments, highlighting the positive relationship between religion and the state.
