Baku: Due to recent developments, all flights scheduled on March 5, 2026, for the Baku-Nakhchivan-Baku route have been canceled. To ensure transportation between Baku and Nakhchivan for Azerbaijani citizens, flights have been arranged from Baku to the Turkish city of Igdir and in the opposite direction. Special buses have been organized to transport passengers from Igdir Airport to Nakhchivan and vice versa. The bus services will operate via the Nakhchivan Bus Terminal.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, passengers are kindly requested to arrive at the airport at least 1.5 hours before departure and to carry a valid international passport or a new-generation ID card. AZAL continues to closely monitor the current situation and is taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of its flights. Passengers will be promptly informed of any changes to the flight schedule.
