Ambassador Confirms Kyrgyzstan’s High-Level Participation in World Urban Forum 13

Baku: Kyrgyzstan will participate at the highest level in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), set to take place in Baku from May 17 to 22. This announcement was made by Maksat Mamytkanov, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Azerbaijan, during an interview with APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Ambassador Mamytkanov expressed anticipation for the forum, highlighting the developments in Kyrgyzstan's construction sector as a result of economic reforms over the past five years. He stressed the importance of international experience in modern urban planning for Kyrgyzstan.

Mamytkanov further explained that Kyrgyzstan is keen on integrating international practices in urban planning, modern architecture, and the modernization of older cities to align with contemporary standards. He emphasized the relevance of these initiatives in terms of environmental protection and improving living conditions for citizens, underscoring the significance of the upcoming forum in Baku.
