According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the ambassador revealed an initiative he proposed a few years ago with the Brazilian Football Confederation to accept young Azerbaijani players into Brazilian football schools. He emphasized that this idea has potential for further development.

Montenegro also noted that professional football clubs have their recruitment practices. He shared that Brazilian footballers express contentment with playing in Azerbaijan, stating that they have adapted well and received a warm welcome in the country.
