Baku: Azerbaijan-Turkiye relations have reached a perfect level, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Birol Akgn told journalists, APA reports. The ambassador made these remarks during an event commemorating the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Ambassador Akgn, along with the entire staff of the Turkish Embassy, paid tribute at Heydar Aliyev's grave. He expressed profound respect for Aliyev's pivotal role in establishing the Azerbaijani national state and his efforts to safeguard the nation's independence and territories during the challenging 1990s. The ambassador emphasized that the slogan 'One nation, two states' coined by the Great Leader continues to guide the robust relationship between Azerbaijan and Turkiye, which has reached a perfect level today.
