Baku: The TRIPP Corridor, traversing through Armenia and Azerbaijan, is seen as a pivotal component for the development of the Middle Corridor, according to Eric Rudenshiold, Research Director and Senior Fellow at the Caspian Policy Center. Rudenshiold expressed that the Middle Corridor's capability to handle freight is nearing its limit, highlighting the necessity for expansion to accommodate growing demands.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Rudenshiold pointed out that Central Asia is experiencing a surge in its aspirations to develop strategic mineral mining and various types of freight. This has underscored the need for enhanced capacity in the region. He asserted that the TRIPP Corridor holds significant potential for both Central Asia and the South Caucasus, suggesting that the region could become a thriving transportation hub connecting Europe and Asia.
