Baku: Azerbaijan is expected to soon become part of the C5+1 platform, according to John E. Herbst, the senior director of the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center. Herbst made this announcement at the 1st Azerbaijan-U.S. Think Tanks Forum, as reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Herbst highlighted the strategic importance of Central Asia to the United States, emphasizing its priority status. He noted President Trump’s role as a peacemaker, actively working on resolving nine conflicts, including the Azerbaijan-Armenia issue. Herbst pointed out that the recent C5+1 summit held in Washington underscores this focus. With Azerbaijan’s anticipated inclusion, the platform will evolve into C6+1, signifying an enhancement in bilateral relations and regional cooperation.
