Nakhchivan: The Amnesty Act, initiated by President Ilham Aliyev and adopted by the Milli Majlis on December 19, is being executed in Nakhchivan, as reported by APA's local bureau. This initiative marks a significant step in the region, affecting numerous inmates in the area.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Amnesty Act is being carried out in the mixed-regime penitentiary institution under the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The act has been applied to a total of 128 prisoners. Out of these, 57 individuals are set to be released, with 15 being released today. The group of released prisoners includes six foreign nationals, comprising two Turkish, two Iranian, and two Turkmen citizens.
