People’s Artist of Ukraine Katib Mammadov has confirmed that his nephew Goshgar Mammadov was shot during a street shooting in Kharkov today.

Mammadov told APA that Mammadov, Goshgar who was visiting Kharkov, was unarmed and a civilian.

At present, with the support of the Azerbaijani Consulate in Kharkov, the possibility of sending Mammadov’s body to Azerbaijan is being investigated.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ukraine also announced today that Mammadov’s body is planned to be sent to Azerbaijan at the earliest opportunity.

The nephew of People’s Artist of Ukraine Katib Mammadov was shot during a street shooting in Kharkov, Ukraine, Chairman of the Center for Public Political Processes and International Studies (ISBAM) Samir Adgozalli, who is currently at the Azerbaijani Consulate in Ukraine, told APA.

Adgazalli said that Mammadov could not take the body from the street because of the shooting.

The incident happened half an hour ago.
