Ana Birchall Advocates for Middle Corridor as Strategic Package

Baku: Work on the Middle Corridor continues in full with the support of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and the corridor should be considered a strategic package, former Deputy Prime Minister of Romania Ana Birchall said during a panel discussion on the Middle Corridor held within the framework of the 13th Global Baku Forum.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Birchall highlighted that the results of the Middle Corridor will soon become evident, eventually transforming it into a global gateway. She emphasized that the corridor will serve Europe's interests and that the interests of participating countries along the route are being taken into account and met. The Middle Corridor is seen as a priority direction for the countries in the region, crucial for transportation, and the existence of alternative corridors is viewed as beneficial for the region's interests.
