Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) and the embassy of the Republic of France in Azerbaijan have signed a declaration of intent in order to support humanitarian demining operation carried out in Azerbaijan, APA reports citing ANAMA.

According to the information, the declaration has been signed by the chair of the Agency Vugar Suleymanov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to the Republic of Azerbaijan Zakari Gross.

The document will contribute to the return of former IDPs to their homelands by strengthening ANAMA’s technical capacity and supporting efforts to create a safe living environment.
