Anama: Azerbaijan's Mine Action Agency has announced significant progress in mine-clearing operations across the country.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, during the operations conducted from August 4 to 10, a total of 153 anti-personnel mines, 30 anti-tank mines, and 673 unexploded ordnances (UXOs) were found and neutralized. The clearance operations took place in the districts of Tartar, Aghdara, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khankendi, Khojavend, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil, and Zangilan.

The agency reported that in total, 1,358.7 hectares of territory were successfully cleared of these hazardous devices, contributing to the safety and stability of these areas.
