Baku: Weekly information on operations carried out by the agencies involved in demining activities in the liberated territories has been released, the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) told APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, 98 anti-personnel mines, 41 anti-tank mines, and 522 unexploded ordnance (UXO) were detected in the liberated territories last week. The report highlights the extensive efforts undertaken by demining teams to ensure the safety and accessibility of these areas.

It was further reported that a total of 1,829.3 hectares of land were cleared of mines and UXO during this period. This significant progress marks another step towards restoring normalcy and safety to the affected regions.
