Baku: From December 15 to 21, the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) conducted mine-clearance operations in the districts of Tartar, Aghdara, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khankendi, Khojavend, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil, and Zangilan. During this period, the operations led to the detection and neutralization of 145 anti-personnel mines, 46 anti-tank mines, and 525 unexploded ordnances (UXOs).

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, in total, 1299 hectares of land were cleared of mines and UXOs. The extensive mine-clearance operations are part of ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and security of civilians and to facilitate the rehabilitation and development of affected areas.
