Baku: The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has reported the discovery of 107 additional mines and 784 unexploded ordnance (UXO) in recently liberated territories. These findings were part of the weekly data release covering operations conducted from August 3 to August 9, 2026.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the demining efforts led to the identification of 87 anti-personnel mines and 20 anti-tank mines. ANAMA's operations have facilitated the clearance of 1,581 hectares of land from these hazardous materials, marking significant progress in ensuring the safety of these areas.
