Khojavend: A mine incident occurred on October 20, 2025, in the territory of Taghaverd village of the liberated Khojavend district, Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) told APA. Ilgar Vali Shirinov, born in 1967, an ANAMA employee working as an excavator operator, was injured as a result of the anti-personnel mine explosion while performing his official duties.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the injured person was evacuated from the site and taken to the district hospital. His right foot was amputated at the heel. His condition is reported as stable.
