During her visit, Costa held discussions with Azerbaijani officials to explore avenues for strengthening bilateral ties.
President Ilham Aliyev reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s dedication to fostering relations with African countries, including Angola. He emphasized the potential for expanding cooperation across multiple sectors. The conversation also touched upon the historical connection between the countries, noting the contributions of Angolan students who studied in Azerbaijan during the Soviet era and are now aiding Angola’s development.
