Paris: The annual consultation session of the International Transport Forum (ITF) has commenced in Paris. The event is being held in a hybrid format at the Conference Center of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, ITF Secretary-General Young Tae Kim delivered the opening speech. Mary Crass, Head of Institutional Relations and Summit at the Paris-based ITF, highlighted the Forum’s collaboration with international, governmental, and non-governmental organizations, as well as its upcoming Summits.
Azerbaijan is represented by Ambassador Leyla Abdullayeva, who will present the priorities of Azerbaijan’s ITF Presidency in 2026 and outline the organization’s goals and areas of cooperation during its tenure.
The session will advance the next phase of international dialogue, playing a pivotal role in shaping global transport policy.
