The annual inflation rate in February of this year was recorded at 39.05%, a significant decrease from January’s figure of 42.12%. During January, consumer prices saw an increase of 2.27% compared to the previous month.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the sector with the least increase in February compared to the previous year was clothing and footwear, which saw a rise of 20.84%. On the other hand, education experienced the highest increase, with a staggering 94.90% rise.
It is important to recall that in Trkiye, inflation reached its highest level in 24 years in October 2022, at 85.5%. Furthermore, last year’s peak for this economic indicator was observed in May, with a rate of 75.45%.
