Baku: Annual inflation in Azerbaijan has been recorded at 3.4% as of October 2024. In the same month, the consumer price index showed a 3.4% increase compared to October 2023. Food products, beverages, and tobacco products contributed to this rise with an increase of 2.6%, while non-food products saw a 2.1% rise. Paid services rendered to the population witnessed a significant increase of 5.8%.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the consumer price index for October 2024 was 100.3% compared to the previous month. Additionally, from January to October 2024, the consumer price index was recorded at 101.7% when compared to the same period in the previous year. The data reflects the economic fluctuations and the impact on various sectors within Azerbaijan.
