Baku: Monthly information on operations carried out by organizations involved in mine clearance activities in the liberated territories has been announced, ANAMA told APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, 173 anti-personnel mines, 111 anti-tank mines, and 1,537 unexploded ordnance were discovered in several regions, including Tartar, Aghdam, Aghdara, Lachin, Fuzuli, Shusha, Khojaly, Khankendi, Kalbajar, Khojavend, Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan. The operations also covered the liberated villages of Baganis Ayrim, Ashagi Eskipara, Xeyrimli, and Gizilhajili in the Gazakh region.

It was reported that an area of 7,520.2 hectares was cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance, reflecting the ongoing efforts to ensure safety and facilitate the restoration process in these regions.
