In accordance with the instructions of the President, it is planned to build another overpass in the capital to ensure the safe and comfortable passage of citizens.

The Public Relations Department of the Azerbaijan State Agency for Motor Roads told AZERTAC that the overpass is planned to be built at the intersection of Mardakan Avenue and Gala-Pirallahi highway in the area where there are problems with pedestrian crossings.

Currently, the project of the new pedestrian crossing is being approved by the relevant government agencies.

The overpass, which is planned to be built on the basis of modern technologies that will meet international standards, will have a modern appearance, as well as provide pedestrians with a comfortable and safe passage of the highway.

The total length of the passage is 91.5 meters, the length of the gallery is 62.9 meters, the internal width is 4.5 meters, and the width of the passage is 5.35 meters.

42-meter-long pedestrian ramps with special slope in accordance with international standards will be installed at the two entrances and exits to ensure the comfortable movement of people with disabilities.
