There are 1,825 kindergartens functioning in Azerbaijan, of which 1,692 are owned by the state, Education Minister Emin Amrullayev said at today’s briefing.

Added to this can ve that 126,000 children are brought up in state preschool institutions. At the same time, 133 private kindergartens are attended by 5,124 children. As of the beginning of 2021, 17,218 employees are employed in preschool institutions.

It sdhould be recalled that according to the new structure of the Ministry of Education, approved by the President of the country on December 19, preschool institutions have been returned to the jurisdiction of this structure.
