Baku: The Arab world attaches great importance to relations with Azerbaijan, stated Mohamed Ahmed Alyammahi, President of the Arab Parliament, during his official visit to the country. Alyammahi made this declaration while meeting with Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis, as reported by the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Alyammahi extended an invitation to Speaker Gafarova to attend and address a plenary session of the Arab Parliament. This gesture underscores the growing diplomatic ties between the Arab world and Azerbaijan, as both regions seek to enhance cooperation and political discourse.
During his visit, Alyammahi signed the Guest Book of the Milli Majlis, marking the significance of his visit. The delegation he led also took the opportunity to inspect the "Victory Corner," a commemorative space dedicated to the 44-day Patriotic War, located in the plenary session hall and the lobby of the Milli Majlis.
