Archaeological samples found in part of Kura river of Azerbaijan

As a result of the lowering of the water level in the Kura River, fragments of material and culture samples bearing archaeological signs were discovered in the part of the river passing through the territory of the Neftchala district of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) noted that an inspection of that area will be held in this regard: “According to the results of the review, appropriate steps will be taken, and then the archaeological materials will be handed over accordingly.”
