BAKU—During the latest episode of the Dialogue with Tofig Abbasov analytical video project on the Baku Network expert platform, significant accusations were levied against Armenia for its treatment of religious sites within Azerbaijani territories.
According to Trend News Agency, the guest speaker, Elbay Gasimzade, Chairman of the Board of the Union of Architects of Azerbaijan, detailed instances of what he described as disrespectful actions by Armenians towards religious places. Gasimzade emphasized the equality of all religious sites, whether they are churches, synagogues, or mosques, as they all hold spiritual significance and are paths to divine belief.
Highlighting the severity of the disrespect, Gasimzade pointed out that Armenians had used Azerbaijani mosques to keep livestock during the occupation of Azerbaijani territories, portraying this act as indicative of Armenia's general attitude towards religion. He quoted the Quran to emphasize the sanctity of religious sites and the profound disrespect shown by such actions.
