Tehran: Armenia has assured Iran that there is no external interference in regional affairs, stated Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei during a press conference in Tehran.

According to Trend News Agency, Baqaei emphasized that Iran had clearly outlined its position concerning the South Caucasus, highlighting its sensitivity towards foreign interference. The Iranian spokesperson noted that this matter was promptly addressed with Armenian officials, who clarified the situation. They assured their Iranian counterparts that any cooperation with U.S. companies would strictly adhere to Armenian law.
