Istanbul: Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan announced on Tuesday that he will meet with his Azerbaijani and Georgian counterparts during the 152nd Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly, scheduled to take place in Istanbul, Trkiye. Simonyan will lead a delegation to the assembly from 16-19 April.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the assembly will see the participation of speakers from numerous countries. Simonyan confirmed that meetings are planned with his counterparts from Azerbaijan and Georgia. He had previously met his Azerbaijani counterpart, Sahiba Gafarova, during the 151st IPU Assembly in Geneva.
