Armenian opposition begun closing the streets in the center of Yerevan

The Armenian opposition has begun closing the streets in the center of Yerevan, APA reports citing Sputnik.

According to the deputy speaker of the parliament, MP from the Hayastan faction Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a peaceful protest will be held from 08:30.

Opposition groups reportedly spent the night in tents set up in the capital’s French Square and are preparing to close the streets.

Meanwhile, part of the opposition began marching on Koryun Street.

They then closed the tunnel on Heratsi Street.

Law enforcement agencies are already taking activists to the police station.

In addition, Khanjian and Nalbandian streets were closed.
