Baku: Artificial intelligence technologies also create certain legal risks, Aydin Verdiyev, Head of the Cybersecurity Department of the Prosecutor General's Office, stated during a live broadcast on the Prosecutor General's Office Instagram page.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Verdiyev highlighted that automated phishing campaigns and the spread of disinformation have been observed in several instances. He noted that these technologies are being exploited by criminals, leading to the detection of a significant amount of cybersecurity-related information.

Verdiyev further mentioned that while artificial intelligence is being misused, its application in combating such threats is also yielding effective results.
