Baku:AS Monaco has officially confirmed its entry into insolvency proceedings, resulting in a pause of its operations. This decision marks the end of a period characterized by significant achievements in French basketball.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the club's announcement follows a prolonged period of financial instability, during which Monaco was unable to secure a viable path to sustain its participation at the highest competitive level.

The club emphasized that this shutdown is intended as a temporary pause rather than a permanent closure. AS Monaco expressed optimism that through restructuring, the project might eventually be revived.
