The united directorate for construction projects of the State Agency for Construction Safety Control of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has selected Ricon as the contractor for the construction of individual houses for 18 families in Shumrud village of Astara region.
In December 2020, the village suffered a landslide that affected 18 homes on 9 hectares. Residents were temporarily settled in the village school and housed in the apartments of relatives. The government passed a decree on the construction of new apartments at the expense of the state.
The Tender Commission told Turan that the 2- and 3-room houses would be built according to standard designs in another part of Shumrud village. The cost of tender offer of Ricon Ltd makes up 1 million 648.200 manats ($969.500).
