Austrian Jewelry Brand FREYWILLE to Launch Collection Inspired by Azerbaijani Garabagh Carpets


BAKU: In a significant cultural collaboration, the Austrian jewelry brand FREYWILLE is set to launch a collection inspired by the intricate patterns of Garabagh carpets, following a Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum. This initiative, announced by the Ministry of Culture, aims to promote Azerbaijani carpet-making heritage on a global scale.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the collection will blend modern art and jewelry technology with the rich history of Azerbaijani craftsmanship, highlighting the unique motifs found in Garabagh carpets. This marks the first occasion FREYWILLE will incorporate Azerbaijani designs into its jewelry. The collaboration seeks to elevate the ancient tradition of Azerbaijani carpet-making through contemporary artistic expression.

Founded in 1951 and managed by Friedrich Wille for over three decades, FREYWILLE is renowned for its exclusive artistic jewelry. The forthcoming collection, which will soon be unveiled to the public, repre
sents a fusion of cultural heritage and modern design, underscoring the brand’s commitment to honoring traditional artistry while embracing innovation.
