Baku: Federal President of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen has extended his congratulations to President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Azerbaijan’s national holiday.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Van der Bellen expressed his sincere congratulations and highlighted the recent peace treaty agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia as a hopeful development. He emphasized the importance of swiftly signing the agreement to conclusively resolve the conflict for the benefit of both nations’ peoples.

In his letter, President Van der Bellen also conveyed his best wishes for the well-being of President Aliyev and his family, as well as for the peace and future prosperity of the Azerbaijani people.
