Baku: An award ceremony for the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan was held on July 31. Addressing the event, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov highlighted the significant role that Azerbaijan plays in regional and international affairs under the leadership of President Ilham Heydarovich Aliyev.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Zhaparov praised Azerbaijan's achievements in strengthening its statehood, developing its economy, and undertaking large-scale projects. He emphasized the strategic partnership forged between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, based on friendship and mutual trust, which has now evolved into an alliance. President Zhaparov also recognized Azerbaijan's participation in the Consultative Meetings of the Heads of State of Central Asia as a key factor in expanding cooperation in trade, economic, transport, and energy sectors.
President Zhaparov lauded President Aliyev's efforts in promoting peace, stability, and cooperation in the region. In recognition of these contributions, President Aliyev was awarded the highest state award of the Kyrgyz Republic, the 'Manas' Order. The award symbolizes the deep respect the Kyrgyz people have for President Aliyev's commitment to strengthening the friendship between the two countries.
In his closing remarks, President Zhaparov congratulated President Aliyev on receiving the 'Manas' Order and extended his best wishes for health, well-being, and success in his duties, as well as peace and prosperity for the people of Azerbaijan.
