Fuzuli: The State Labor Inspectorate Service, operating under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population, has conducted awareness-raising events on labor protection across 33 enterprises located in territories recently liberated from occupation, as revealed by the Ministry to APA.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the events saw participation from several key organizations, including the Mine Action Agency, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency, the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, and the State Employment Agency, which is also under the Ministry. These sessions took place in the districts of Fuzuli, Jabrayil, and Zangilan.
The events attracted over 900 participants, comprising both employers' representatives and employees. They were educated on critical aspects of legislation concerning the maintenance of healthy and safe working environments, the enforcement of new state standards regarding labor protection, and the process of workplace attestation.
Moreover, attendees received insights on workplace safety protocols, essential mine safety principles, and strategies to mitigate risks. As part of the awareness initiative, participants were also provided with guidebooks, booklets, and other informative materials, ensuring that their queries were addressed comprehensively.
