Baku: Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) has announced the cancellation of its flights on the Baku-Moscow route, citing unfavorable meteorological conditions as the reason for this temporary disruption. The affected flights include J2-805 and J2-806, which operate on the Baku-Moscow (Vnukovo)-Baku route.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, AZAL has implemented measures to ensure passenger convenience in light of these cancellations. Passengers affected by the disruption were offered alternative flight options, and in cases where alternatives were not feasible, ticket fares were refunded. Some of the passengers from the canceled flights were accommodated on AZAL's other services, specifically flights J2-809 and J2-810.
For those passengers who were in Moscow and unable to utilize alternative flight options, AZAL facilitated the refund of their ticket costs. The airline expressed apologies for the inconvenience caused and extended their gratitude to passengers for their understanding during this period of disruption.
