Baku: Due to recent developments in the Middle East and the closure of airspace by several countries, Azerbaijan Airlines has cancelled a number of flights scheduled for June 16, 2025. Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC communicated this information to APA, indicating that the affected flights include Baku – Dammam – Baku (J2 8205/8206), Baku – Bahrain – Baku (J2 505/506), Baku – Riyadh – Baku (J2 8203/8204), and Baku – Lahore – Baku (J2 145/146).
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, there has also been a temporary suspension of flights on additional routes. The Baku – Tel Aviv – Baku route will be suspended from June 18 to June 30, and the Baku – Tehran – Baku route will be suspended from June 19 to June 30. Azerbaijan Airlines emphasized their commitment to monitoring the situation closely, ensuring flight safety, and making necessary operational decisions promptly. Passengers will be kept informed of any further changes to the flight schedule.
