AZAL Organizes Alternative Transport for Canceled Baku-Nakhchivan Flights

Baku: Due to the recent events, all flights scheduled for March 5, 2026, on the Baku-Nakhchivan-Baku route have been canceled, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) told APA-Economics. In response, AZAL has organized alternative flights to ensure continued transport connection for Azerbaijani citizens.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, flights have been scheduled from Baku to the Turkish city of Igdir and vice versa. To facilitate the journey, special buses have been arranged to transport passengers between Igdir Airport and Nakhchivan, operating through the Nakhchivan bus terminal.

Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least one and a half hours before their flight and are required to carry their foreign passports or new-generation identity cards. AZAL is keeping a close watch on the situation and assures that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure flight safety. Any changes in the flight schedule will be promptly communicated to passengers.
