Baku: Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov engaged in a significant phone conversation with Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar. The discussion, as reported by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focused on the current security scenario in the region.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, during the call, Minister Bayramov commended the ceasefire achieved between the United States and Iran, highlighting it as a crucial advancement for regional stability and humanitarian improvements. He particularly acknowledged the role of Pakistan in facilitating this ceasefire, extending best wishes for Pakistan's ongoing efforts in fostering peace, establishing dialogue, and enhancing mutual trust in the region. The upcoming Islamabad talks were also anticipated with optimism for positive results.

Minister Bayramov expressed high regard for Pakistan's steadfast and principled approach along with its constructive initiatives.
